Welcome! I have been teaching since 2016. I adore teaching 2nd grade! I grew up in Sampson County, but currently call Johnston County home. I love being a teacher for so many reasons. I truly enjoy giving students the tools they need to succeed, and watching them take ownership of their own learning. I also love building genuine relationships with my students. I believe that students have to have a positive and nurturing learning environment to be academically successful. In our classroom we also have very high academic and behavior expectations. We give it our best each day, but every day is a fresh start! I am so grateful to be a part of the GKE family!
Johnston County Public Schools invites students and their families to learn more about our interesting options for our middle and high school students during our Virtual Information Nights on January 28 and February 4, 2021. Participants will be able to visit the virtual spaces for each program and talk with program coordinators and students from 6:00-8:00 pm.
