Mrs. Maria Eby

I am very excited to be teaching 4th grade here at Dixon Road Elementary.   I have previously taught in Wake County Public Schools.  I have taught most elementary grades, as well as 6th grade and technology.  I have also served as an Instructional Resource Teacher.  I am very proud and honored to serve as both a Kenan Fellow, and and A+ Schools of NC Fellow. I am married, and have two wonderful sons, as well as a beautiful daughter-in-law.  I have a passion for STEM and Arts Integration, and work hard to incorporate both into my classroom in order to provide a variety of rich learning experiences for my students.  I believe students learn best through experiences and by making connections to the content and build my classroom around that philosophy.
