    • Football Team Defeats Riverwood

      The Knights football team had a dramatic come from behind victory over the Riverwood Ravens on Thursday, September 19, 2019. Smithfield scored late in the game to take a 12-8 win at home. The Knights return to action at home vs the Swift Creek Wolves on Thursday, September 26, 2019. Game time is 4:00pm.

    • National Junior Honor Society

      On April 4, 2019, the Smithfield Middle School, M.L. Wilson Chapter of the National Junior Honor Society welcomed seventeen new eighth grade and fifty three new seventh grade inductees, bringing its total membership to 121 students. Membership in the National Junior Honor Society demonstrates a dedication to scholarship, leadership, service, character, and citizenship. See inside for more on our ceremony.
