Mrs. Karen Spivey

Welcome back to an exciting new year at MXMS!  I strive to provide a positive, effective learning environment for all students in room 802 and look forward to working with all my students and their parents!

I am a graduate of North Carolina State University, with a B.S. in Animal Science and a Master's in Animal Science with a minor in Agricultural & Extension Education and a post-Master's degree certification in Agricultural Education for middle and high school.

I joined the McGee's Middle staff in August 2014 and teach 6th, 7th, and 8th grade elective Agricultural Science courses as part of the Career & Technical Education department of Johnston County Public Schools.   I deem it a privilege to share my passion for agriculture with my students.
