Mrs. Lauren Barbour
My name is Lauren Barbour and I have been a teacher at MCES for 12 years! For for my first 9 years, I taught Kindergarten and this will be my 3rd year in my current role running the Innovation and Technology Fab Lab. I enjoy getting to work with the entirety of students within our school! I graduated from the University of North Carolina-Wilmington in 2009 as a North Carolina Teaching Fellow with a BS in Elementary Education and Concentration in Music.
My husband Jonathan and I have been married for 11 years and we have 2 amazing sons! We enjoy spending time fishing & boating at the beach/lake, tending to our farm & cattle, and cheering for the ECU Pirates!
