Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Bond

My name is Allyson Bond and this 2020-2021 school year marks my 26th year teaching 1st grade ~ 23 years right here at McGee's Crossroads Elementary School! I was born and raised in Winston-Salem, and since the 2nd grade, I knew that I wanted to be a teacher. I pursued that childhood dream and graduated from Meredith College with a Child Development degree and K-6 teaching certification.

I enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, boating, being creative, painting furniture and canvases, and going to outdoor concerts - especially Kenny Chesney, Thomas Rhett and Zac Brown Band! =)

I look forward to spending an amazing year with my students and their families! FiRsTiEs aRe BeStiEs ... And remember to "read, read, READ!"
