    • JCVA MADE HISTORY WITH OUR FIRST GRADUATION!

      Johnston County Virtual Academy held its first graduation ceremony on December 16th, 2022 at 5pm. We had 25 mid-year graduates and their families join us for the memorable event. We celebrate the hard work and dedication of our graduates as they embark on a new leg of the journey!  They came, they conquered and they persevered! CONGRATULATIONS!

    • JCPS announces administration changes for JCPS Virtual Academy, Innovation Academy

      Johnston County Public Schools announced administration transitions for the JCPS Virtual Academy and the Innovation Academy at South Campus on Thursday, September 2. Kelley Johnson will transition into the role of Principal of the JCPS Virtual Academy on Tuesday, September 7.

    • NEED A TRANSCRIPT?

      Johnston County Public Schools is now offering a secure website for students and corporations to request student records online. Per District policy and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) student records are only available to those who have authorization from the student or parent, guardian or responsible person if the student is less than 18 years of age. If the student is 18 years of age or older, school records will not be released to a parent, guardian, or responsible person without the student’s written consent.

    • ACCESS Testing for English Language Learners

      North Carolina schools are required to administer ACCESS for ELLs 2.0 to all students identified as English Learners (ELs) in the spring of each year to determine their progress in learning English. Each student is tested in four areas: Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing. This assessment helps us monitor their English language development.
