I would like to welcome all of you to West Smithfield Elementary School's website. 

This Spring Semester is really flying by!

As you know we have been considering transitioning to either a 9-3 calendar or back to the traditional calendar.  The Board of Education met last Tuesday April 9th and voted on our school's calendar. We will be on the 9-3 calendar for the 2013-2014 school year.  The students will begin the school year on Monday July 22nd.  If you have any questions about this calendar, please contact me and I will be happy to answer them.

I also would like to invite all of you out to our Spring Carnival this Saturday April 20th from 10am until 3pm.  We will have laser tag, inflatable rides, games, food and lots of fun for the whole family.  This is a fundraiser for our PTO and all of the money raised directly impacts our classrooms and students.
