"We Initiate Student Excellence"
West View Elementary Fifth graders participated in an essay and poster contest for the Soil and Water Conservation contest. West View 5th graders took home all four top places in the county.

In the essay category, Ali Papworth took home top honors as the 1st place winner in the essay category. Emmy Ford won 2nd place in the essay category. In the poster category, Mikey Hewitt took home top honors as the 1st place winner in the poster category. Jamar Poston won 2nd place in the poster category. Each student received a cash prize for placing in the Soil and Water Conservation contest. First place winners won $50.00 each and second place winners won $25.00 each.
