North Carolina Softball Coaches named Kristen Jernigan and Whitney Williams 3A Region 3 All District. Kristen was selected as the Player of the Year in 3A Region 3. Wow great news! All Conference in the Eastern Carolina Conference was Kristen, Whitney and Kaitlyn Barbour. Honorable Mention was Courtney Woods, Anna Reaves, and Heather Howard. Congratulations to South Johnston alum Coach Ray Tanner and the University of South Carolina Gamecocks for winning the NCAA Baseball College World Series in Omaha Nebraska.
