In order to try out for any sport at ALMS

 Athletic Eligibility: No 6th graders are to participate, regardless of age. 6th graders promoted to the 7th grade will be eligible to play the first 9 weeks.

Academics: Students in grades 7 (after 1st 9 weeks) and 8th, in order to be eligible for athletics, MUST meet local promotion standards and MUST have a 77 average for the previous grading period.

 Legal Birth& Age Limits: The principal must have evidence of the legal birth date of the student. A student shall NOT participate on a 7th or 8th grade middle school team if he/she becomes 15 years of age ON OR BEFORE AUGUST 31 of said school year.

 Legal Residency: You must live in Archer Lodge district or have transferred paperwork filed with the county office.

 Medical Examination: The student MUST receive a medical examination signed by a licensed medical doctor each year (365 days). Signed physical form must be turned into coaches before student can tryout or participate.  This physical form MUST be the form printed off the school website. There will be extra forms in the main office during the summer.
