Updates for the 2nd half of the school year: 

 Please remember to wear your athletic shoes/sneakers for your PE days.  Good athletic shoes will give your feet, legs, knees the support and balance so you can move and run your best! Sneakers keep your feet protected all day--- especially on the playground.  Please consider wearing your sneakers every day to school!

  • We just completed the shuttle run for K-2 awards and for Presidential Fitness test for the 3-5 graders. A unit of volleyball (throw and catch for k-2), badminton, ping pong and tennis was enjoyed by all!
  • Starting in February we will be kicking off Jump Rope for Heart---raising money for the American Heart Association.  Please see my JRFH page for updates
  • Also starting  February 10th, we will be doing XXII Winter Olympic centers!!!  We will have a blast imitating some of the 15 sports in a much warmer climate!!  We will be keeping track of the American athletes that win a gold, silver, or bronze medal.

We do collect gently used and new sneakers/tennis shoes.  They are then used for students that do not have good athletic shoes.  If you have a pair that you would like to donate just bring them down to the gym at any time!  Thanks!
